More than 40 golf carts took a spin around Manhattan Beach on Sunday, with decorations ranging from funny to downright scary.

The 3rd annual golf cart parade, organized by the Golf Cart Crew, brought out scores of residents and their four-legged friends in an array of creative costumes.

Prizes were awarded to three golf carts: 

Greatest Group: Hance Family (winning a $100 Sushi Roku gift card)

Most Spooky: Trevi O'Neill and family (winning a $100 California Pizza Kitchen gift card)

Following the contest, the golf carts took off on a jaunt around downtown, all the way to the border with Hermosa Beach, and then back up along the Greenbelt to Manhattan Village, where they all parked for a post-parade party.

The Golf Cart Crew, headed by Shawn Giaconi, has run regular parades for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and the Fourth of July since 2020.
